Storybook Discovery Trunks
Our Storybook Discovery Trunks are designed to be a resource to help Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Teachers involve more children in interactive learning. We have five Trunks for you to choose from:
- Penguins on Parade (Pre-K and Kindergarten)
- A River Full of Fun (Pre-K and Kindergarten)
- Under the Stars (Pre-K and Kindergarten)
- Climbing to Nutrition (Kindergarten and 1st Grade)
- Conquering the Continents (3rd through 5th Grade)
These kits contain materials and lesson plans that help to turn a classroom into a multi-dimensional learning experience. They’re an innovative way to spark creative learning for students with highly diverse learning and developmental needs.
Storybook Discovery Trunks stimulate curiosity and motivate learning, transform the classroom into a fully participatory environment, encourage students to participate in their own learning, and foster creative thought and expression, along with critical thinking and analysis.

What is the cost?
There is no charge to check out one of these kits.
How do I reserve a kit...
Please contact at 336-723-9111, ext. 211 or email.
You should plan on keeping the kit no longer than two months so other schools can get in on the experience. If you do not use all of the materials within your two months, feel free to share the kit with another teacher!
